Salary Calculator Philippines

Convert monthly, daily, and hourly salary rates based on your working schedule and assumptions.

What salary amount do you know?

Used for the monthly-to-daily conversion. This is an assumption you choose — not a fixed legal number.

Used to convert daily pay to an hourly rate.

This calculator provides estimated salary-rate conversions based on the assumptions you enter. Actual payroll calculations may vary depending on your employment arrangement, work schedule, employer policies, applicable labor rules, and payroll practices. This tool does not calculate overtime, holiday pay, statutory deductions, taxes, or other compensation.

Important information

Why isn't there one universal daily-rate divisor?

The appropriate divisor depends on your employment arrangement, work schedule, and payroll practice. Monthly-paid and daily-paid employees, and 5-day vs. 6-day workweeks, commonly use different conventions — so you choose the assumption that matches your situation.

Does this calculator include overtime?

No. This version estimates your base monthly, daily, and hourly rates only, before any overtime premium.

Does this calculator include holiday pay?

No. Holiday pay rules and rates are not part of this calculator.

Does this calculator calculate deductions?

No. It doesn't compute SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, withholding tax, or any other statutory or company deductions.

Is the result my actual take-home pay?

No. This calculates salary-rate equivalents before deductions and additional compensation — not your net take-home pay.

Frequently asked questions

Divide your monthly salary by the number of working days you want to use for the conversion (for example, 22). This calculator lets you set that number yourself, since different employers use different day counts.

Sources & references

The mathematical conversion itself is based on the working-day and working-hour assumptions you enter, not a single government-mandated formula. Where this page discusses Philippine employment rules, it's based on the following sources — verify them yourself.

  1. Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)

Labor Code of the Philippines — Book III: Conditions of Employment

Statutory basis for the 8-hour normal workday used as this calculator's default working-hours assumption.

  2. DOLE — Bureau of Working Conditions

Handbook on Workers' Statutory Monetary Benefits

DOLE's own reference showing that different daily-rate divisor factors (such as 261, 313, or 365) apply depending on whether an employee is monthly-paid or daily-paid, and their work schedule — which is why this calculator asks you to specify your own assumptions rather than assuming one.
