13th Month Pay Calculator Philippines

Calculate your estimated 13th month pay based on your total basic salary earned during the year.

How would you like to calculate?

Enter the total basic salary you earned during the calendar year — before overtime, holiday pay, night differential, or allowances.

This calculator provides an estimate for informational purposes. Actual 13th month pay may depend on your employment circumstances and applicable rules. For specific employment or legal questions, consult the appropriate government agency or a qualified professional.

How is 13th month pay calculated?

13th Month Pay=Total Basic Salary Earned During the Year÷12

Example

Total basic salary earned₱300,000.00
12 months
Estimated 13th month pay₱25,000.00

Important information

What is basic salary?

Basic salary is the regular pay you receive for work performed — your standard salary or wage rate. This is what the calculator expects you to enter as your total basic salary earned.

What compensation may not be included?

Overtime pay, premium pay for rest days and special holidays, night shift differential, holiday pay, cost-of-living allowances, and cash equivalents of unused leave are generally excluded from basic salary, unless your employer has integrated them by company policy or agreement.

What if I only worked part of the year?

Enter the total basic salary you actually earned during the period you worked, not a full year's salary. Because the formula always divides by 12, it naturally produces a proportionate amount for partial-year employment.

What if my salary changed during the year?

Add up the actual basic salary you received each pay period rather than multiplying your current monthly rate by 12. The "Monthly salary × months" option gives a rough estimate but assumes a constant salary.

Is this calculator an official government calculator?

No. This is an independent calculator based on applicable Philippine rules and published government information. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by DOLE or any government agency.

Frequently asked questions

Under Presidential Decree No. 851, 13th month pay is one-twelfth (1/12) of the total basic salary you actually earned during the calendar year: total basic salary earned ÷ 12.
