What is an invoice?

An invoice is a document a business sends a customer requesting payment for products or services provided. It records what was delivered, at what price, any discounts or tax applied, and the total amount owed — a formal request for payment, and a record both sides can refer back to.

What should an invoice include?

  • • Business information (name, contact details)
  • • Customer information (who's being billed)
  • • A unique invoice number
  • • The invoice date
  • • Items or services provided, with quantity and price
  • • Any discounts applied
  • • Tax, if applicable
  • • The total amount due
  • • Payment terms (when payment is expected)

Invoice vs. receipt

An invoice is typically sent before payment — it's a request for payment and states what's owed. A receipt is issued after payment is received, as proof that it was paid. Depending on your business and registration, additional official receipt or documentation requirements may also apply — this tool generates a general-purpose invoice document, not an official receipt.

How to save an invoice as PDF

  2. 2. Click "Print / Save as PDF."
  3. 3. In the browser's print dialog, choose "Save as PDF" as the destination.
  4. 4. Save the file to your device.

Important information

Your invoice information stays in your browser

This generator runs entirely client-side. Business and customer details, items, discounts, tax, and any uploaded logo are processed locally and never sent to a server, database, or third-party service.

No account or sign-in required

Use the generator immediately — nothing is saved between visits, and there's no login, registration, or tracking required to create an invoice.

Philippine tax and invoicing obligations vary by business

Whether tax applies, and at what rate, depends on your registration and circumstances — this generator doesn't determine that for you. Tax is entirely optional and user-controlled: turn it on and enter the rate that applies to your business, or leave it off.

This is a document tool, not tax or legal advice

You're responsible for entering accurate business, customer, pricing, tax, and payment information, and for verifying your own applicable Philippine invoicing and tax requirements.
